Tamekia Bell (Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services) co-authored a publication with Peitao Zhu from Northern Illinois University, Gideon Litherland from The Family Institute at Northwestern University, and Melissa Luke from Syracuse University,  entitled "Professional wisdom in counselor education: A consensual qualitative research" which was recognized by Counselor Education and Supervision journal as Article of the Week. Authors noted, "This project was motivated by the belief that counselors and counselor educators who think and act wisely can play a more constructive role in mitigating suffering, alienation, and conflicts in an ever-polarizing world."
