Susan B. Wainscott and Richard J. Zwiercan (Libraries) presented a conference paper, "Improving Access to Standards," at the 2020 American Society for Engineering Education. This paper describes the development and assessment of the process the University Libraries use to make standards documents available to faculty, staff, and students. Standards documents are used by a wide variety of disciplines in research and design projects, and this format can be prohibitively expensive for libraries to collect complete sets. Zwiercan and Wainscott worked with UNLV interlibrary loan to develop a service to provide standards documents on request.
