Su Kim Chung, David G. Schwartz, and Claytee White (all Libraries) were appointed to the Advisory Council for The Mob Museum, The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement.
The council assists The Mob Museum with advancing the public understanding of organized crime’s history and impact on society. The Advisory Council membership roster includes former U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, former Gov. Bob Miller, and leaders within numerous law enforcement agencies, as well as academic and corporate entities. Advisory Council members collectively contribute to the development of new museum exhibits and programs, creating more effective ways of delivering these experiences to the public.
Schwartz and White are both featured in videos in exhibits within the museum, located in downtown Las Vegas. The museum has utilized UNLV Special Collections and Archives collections in the development of its exhibits detailing the history of the mob and organized crime in Las Vegas.
