The Office of Service Learning and Leadership (Student Affairs) received a $30k grant through the Center for Expanding Leadership & Opportunity, funded by the Allstate Foundation, to expand community engagement opportunities and student recognition initiatives. The funds will be used over the next year to expand existing community engagement programs — Service Day, Alternative Break Trips, and the Impact Awards — while also providing individual incentives to and recognizing the individual UNLV students and registered student organizations strengthening the Southern Nevada community through volunteerism.
