Sophie Ahmad, Nataliyah Tahir, Rafae Nauman, Kavita Batra, and Kenneth Izuora (all Medicine); along with Ashok Gupta from Greenboro Radiology, North Carolina; Civon Gewelber from Dental Medicine, Roseman University of Health Sciences, Las Vegas published a study, "Association between Periodontal Disease and Bone Loss among Ambulatory Postmenopausal Women: A Cross-Sectional Study" in the Journal of Clinical Medicine. Ahmad, Tahir, and Nauman are medical students and were co-mentored by Dr. Izuora and Dr. Batra.
Dr. Izuora is the Program Director for the Endocrinology Fellowship Training Program, Chief-Division of Endocrinology, and Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine.
