Siddharth Raich, Asma Awan, Christopher Johansen, Manoj Sharma (all Social and Behavioral Health), Neeraj Bhandari (Health Care Administration and Policy) and Kavita Batra (Medicine), presented their poster, “Disparities in pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) uptake interventions among Asian Americans: A scoping review of current interventions” during the American Public Health Association 2023 Annual Meeting on Nov. 14 in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of the Asian & Pacific Islander Caucus for Public Health: APIC Poster Session. The study derived conclusions that evidence-based, educational interventions should be developed for Asian Americans to promote PrEP uptake.
