Sidath Kapukotuwa, Tara Nerida, Manoj Sharma (all Social and Behavioral Health), and Kavita Batra (Medicine) published an article, “Utilization of the Multi-theory Model (MTM) of Health Behavior Change to Explain Health Behaviors: A Systematic Review,” In the journal, Health Promotion Perspectives (Impact Factor: 2.4). The article synthesizes findings from six qualitative, 56 cross-sectional, and seven experimental studies done using Sharma’s fourth-generation framework, MTM, with different health behaviors across the world. Kapukotuwa is a current graduate student and Nerida is a former graduate student.
