Shashi Nambisan (Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction and the Transportation Research Center) received the Institute of Transportation Engineers Mountain District’s 2022 Outstanding Educator award, which was presented at the district’s annual meeting held in Boise, Idaho, earlier this month. He was nominated for this award by current and former UNLV students. The district covers eight states (Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming) andmhas 14 universities eligible to submit nominations for the award.
