Simangan and Jyoti Desai (UNLV Health); and Melva Thompson-Robinson (School of Nursing) published, "Nurturing care assets for food security: a community asset mapping approach," in the Journal of Health, Population and Nutrition. This is based on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding for the Early Responsive Nurturing Care for Food Security (EARN-FS), a research project on maternal and child health and nutrition within the West Las Vegas Promise Neighborhood (WLVPN).
