Sanae El Ibrahimi (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) was invited to speak at the Utah Health Information Network Health Information Technology 2020 conference. The presentation discussed Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) Sources and Applications in Administrative Data Sets. Specifically, the presentation addressed the importance of tracking SDoH for individual and population health, workflow and documentation in electronic health records, SDoH integration optimal for interoperability, sources of standardized SDoH screening tools, SDoH initiatives and challenges.
