The UNLV Down Syndrome program is happy to announce the publication of this original research article titled, “Care coordination for adults with Down syndrome or intellectual and developmental disabilities: a scoping review.” In this paper, the authors report on currently existing care coordination efforts for adults with Down syndrome or intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is significant because it identifies the gaps in research for care coordination for these individuals, which not only informs the work of the Down syndrome program at UNLV but also translates to improvement in health care services for people living in Nevada.
