Rian Satterwhite (Service Learning and Leadership) represented UNLV at Campus Compact’s Research University Civic Engagement Network (TRUCEN) meeting at the University of Minnesota. This is the first time UNLV has been involved with TRUCEN — a network of community engagement professionals from R1 universities across the country — after having been invited to participate in January of this year. Satterwhite shared about UNLV’s efforts around community engagement, service-learning, and voter and democratic engagement while networking with colleagues from 30 other R1 institutions.
