Renato M. Liboro, Sherry Bell, Brandon Ranuschio, and Lianne Barnes (Psychology), along with other members of the CHAMPION Mental Health research lab of UNLV, recently published their article, "Barriers and Facilitators to Promoting Resilience to HIV/AIDS: A Qualitative Study on the Lived Experiences of HIV-Positive, Racial and Ethnic Minority, Middle-Aged and Older Men Who Have Sex with Men from Ontario, Canada" in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health's Special Issue on "Mental Health Opportunities and Challenges across LGBTQ+ Communities." This article explores and examines the specific perspectives and lived experiences of ethnoracial minority, older men who have sex with men on factors that hinder and promote their resilience to the clinical and social impacts of HIV/AIDS.
