Dr. Renato "Rainier" Liboro (Psychology) has joined the LGBTQ Center of Southern Nevada as its academic research involvement and engagement liaison. In this new role, he will collaborate with the center and its community partners to conduct community-based research relevant to the mental health and well-being of the agency's stakeholders. Also, he will work to promote the center’s interests in future research with UNLV and other research institutions. Liboro is the research lead of the Community Health Advocacy for Minority Populations, Immigrants, and Other Newcomers, and its Mental Health (CHAMPION Mental Health) Research Lab, and is affiliated with the Population Health and Health Equity Initiative.
