Reimund Serafica (lead-author), Jennifer Kawi, Andrew Thomas Reyes, and Lorraine Evangelista (all Nursing), and Miguel Fudolig and Francisco Sy (Public Health) co-authored an article, "Correlates of Psychological Distress Among Filipino Americans and Filipinos Living in Urban Areas in the United States and the Philippines." The study aimed to compare Filipino Americans in the U.S. and Filipinos in the Philippines concerning their levels of psychological distress, sources of stress, and use of health-promotion strategies.
