Refat Rasul Srejon, Asma Awan, and Manoj Sharma (all Social and Behavioral Health) presented a paper titled, "Effectiveness of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for multiple health outcomes among cancer survivors: A systematic review: A systematic review," at the 2024 Nevada Public Health Association Annual Conference held virtually on April 17, 2024. The presentation highlighted the role of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) as a potential intervention in cancer patients for enhancing their well-being with a growing significance of addressing the challenges faced by cancer survivors and utilizing MBCT as an adjunct to improve health outcomes.
