Rebecca Gill (Political Science) and Kate Eugenis, '17 PhD Political Science, have published in the London School of Economics American Politics and Policy blog. In their essay, they discuss the findings of their recent article "Do Voters Prefer Women Judges? Deconstructing the Competitive Advantage in State Supreme Court Elections," which was published earlier this year in State Politics and Policy Quarterly. The title of the essay describes these findings: In judicial elections, women are more likely than men to unseat incumbents.
