Raisa Kabir (Public Health) and Manoj Sharma (Environmental & Occupational health) presented three poster presentations at the Nevada Public Health Association’s Annual Meeting held between Sep. 13-15 in Las Vegas.  The posters were, “Thematic analysis on the correlates of physical activity and sedentary behavior among Asian Americans,” “Comprehensive review of educational programs for promoting physical activity behaviors among older Asian Americans in the US,” and  “Qualitative exploration of the effects of implicit bias against persons of color in health care settings.”

Kabir is a post baccalaureate student in the School of Public Health.
