Peter Gray (Anthropology) and colleagues Justin Garcia and Amanda Gesselman of the gender studies and Kinsey Institute at Indiana University, published "Age-related patterns in sexual behaviors and attitudes among single U.S. adults: An evolutionary approach" in Evolutionary Behavioral Sciences. The study draws upon a large sample of U.S. single adults across a broad age range. Findings complement much of the existing literature that focuses on sexual behaviors and attitudes among partnered individuals, primarily among young adults, and embeds them in evolutionary and life history theoretical approaches.
