Pearl C. Kim, Chris R. Cochran, Sungyoun Chun and Jay J. Shen (all Health Care Administration and Policy), Ji Won Yoo (Medicine), and Seong-Min Park (Criminal Justice) recently published an article on "Trends and Associated Factors of Use of Opioid, Heroin, and Cannabis among Patients for Emergency Department Visits in Nevada: 2009–2017" in the journal Medicine.
Kim is a graduating Ph.D. student who will be recognized as an Outstanding Graduate at UNLV's winter commencement. Chun is a visiting international scholar. Other collaborators on this research include Yong-Jae Lee from the College of Medicine at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
