Patricia Heisser Metoyer, Ph.D., (Psychology, African American and African Diaspora and Interdisciplinary Studies) was invited by Sage Publications to review the seminal text African American Psychology: From Africa to America, Fourth Edition, a comprehensive coverage of African American psychology by Faye Z. Belgrave and Kevin W. Allison. The text is the primary academic resource on the subject matter in universities internationally. Heisser Metoyer, an expert in clinical psychology, has reviewed the text for four years. She was invited as a select reviewer "based on your experience and history in the field, your insights on this project will be extremely valuable."
