Olivia Cheche (Political Science, Brookings Mountain West, The Lincy Institute), Peter Grema (Economics, Brookings Mountain West, The Lincy Institute), Blanca Peña (Criminal Justice), and Nicole Thomas (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) co-wrote a recent Op-Ed titled, "Students, Taxpayers Once Again Robbed by Higher Education System." The piece highlights how much a $610,000 severance package could instead benefit higher education in Nevada, following the news of NSHE Chancellor Melody Rose's resignation.
