A UNLV collaborative team from the Office of Decision Support and the Graduate College, led by Nikolina Pender, the director of Graduate Data Analysis & Assessment, presented a paper at a national convening by the Gardner Institute. The conference, titled "The Graduate Student Experience: Redesigning Graduate School So That Every Student Can Flourish and Finish," was attended by delegates from over 60 universities around the nation. Their paper, titled, "Impact of UNLV Funding on PhD Student Graduation Rate and Time to Degree within STEM Fields," represents the first data driven paper presented as part of UNLV's recent Sloan Centers for Systemic Change grant.
