Miguel Fudolig (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) presented his work titled, "Can you see the change? Change Point Detection using Statistical Lineups" during the 2023 Symposium of Data Science and Statistics on May 23-26 in St. Louis, Missouri. The study involves demonstrating how human participants can visually perceive translational mean change by choosing the data set with the change point in a lineup with null plots.
This project is a joint collaboration with researchers from Cal Poly and University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
