Michelle Light (Libraries) has been elected the vice president/president-elect of the Society of American Archivists (SAA). She begins her one-year term this August and will become SAA's 75th president in 2019-20.
SAA is North America's oldest and largest national professional association dedicated to the needs and interests of archives and archivists. The organization represents more than 6,200 professional archivists employed by governments, universities, businesses, libraries, and historical organizations nationally.
