Michelle Light (Libraries) is being inducted as a Fellow of the Society of American Archivists in August. The distinction of Fellow is the highest honor bestowed on individuals by the organization and is awarded for outstanding contributions to the archives profession. She is one of five new Fellows named in 2014. Currently, there are 179 Fellows in the society. Founded in 1936, the organization is North America's oldest and largest national archival professional association.
