Michael Briones, Shilpa Daulat, Crystal Dickson, Diana Pena and Cameron Sarabi (all Medicine) took top honors in competition at Nevada Population Health Conference. The first-year medical students impressed a panel of medical and legal professionals with their poster, "A Systematic Approach to Coordinating Medical and Legal Services for Uninsured Patients."
They competed against teams from the UNR School of Medicine and UNLV's William S. Boyd School of Law. The conference gives medical and legal professionals the opportunity to explore innovative population health programs by the private and public sectors to improve the health of Nevadans.
