Micajah Daniels, Manoj Sharma (both Environmental and Occupational Health), and Kavita Batra (Medicine) published a commentary, "Social Media and Substance Use among Adolescents: Implications for Research" in the Journal of Alcohol and Drug Education. The commentary examines the growing use of social media among adolescents and its impact on substance use and other concomitant behaviors and discusses implications for research to improve health education to control risky behaviors among this group. Daniels is a student in the master of public health program.
