Melissa Bowles-Terry (Libraries) gave an invited presentation at the Association of Research Libraries fall meeting in Washington, D.C., regarding library impact on student success. Along with Jade Winn from University of Southern California Libraries, she reported on the results of a project launched by the Greater Western Library Alliance to analyze the impact of library instruction interactions on student retention, GPA, and credit hours earned. Across 12 research institutions, the analysis found a significant relationship between library instruction and all three measures of student success.
