Megan Griffard (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) published a study on the working conditions and leadership perceptions of school mental health professionals (school counselors, psychologists, and social workers) during remote schooling during the pandemic in the Journal of Education Human Resources. Results showed that prior positive perceptions of working conditions and leadership were positively associated with professionals' experiences during school closures, even when professionals faces challenges related to resources and service delivery. The findings suggest that consistent leadership practices even during periods of stress and uncertainty are essential for enabling school mental health professionals to support students' needs.
