Md. Sohail Akhter and Manoj Sharma (both Social and Behavioral Health) presented a study titled, “Bibliometric analysis to assess the global research trends on health education and promotion among people living with cancer” in the 5th BİLSEL International Congress on Scientific Research & Innovation in Istanbul, Turkey. Results of the study revealed a total of 253 papers on health education/promotion and cancer published from 1989 to 2024, with a 9.37% annual growth rate. Insights from this study offer a comprehensive view of global research trends and emphasize the need to extend research efforts to underrepresented regions, ensuring broader access to health promotion initiatives in cancer care.
