Mark Fink (Online Education) recently completed work as an expert panel member for the Horizon Project's "Horizon Report: 2015 Higher Education Edition." The report is read by policymakers and higher education leaders in 160 countries and growing with more than 40 editions and 50 translations.
"University administrators and educators across the world use the report as a springboard for discussion around important trends and challenges," said Larry Johnson, chief executive officer of the New Media Consortium. "With its 2015 edition, the Horizon Report for higher education has taken some important evolutionary steps," notes Malcolm Brown, director of Educause Learning Initiative (ELI) . "The report embeds the six technologies more explicitly in the overall context of higher education with its expanded section on trends and challenges. The report has always assisted the community in making decisions about technology directions, but now the trends and challenges sections provide additional resources for campus discussions and decision making."
