Manoj Sharma, Ravi Batra (Social and Behavioral Health), Kavita Batra (Medicine), Ching-Chen Chen (Counselor Education), Chia-Laing Dai (Teaching and Learning), and David Cappelli (Dental Medicine) have published a manuscript titled, “Predicting Flossing through the Application of the Multi-Theory Model (MTM) of Health Behavior Change among Minority Adolescents in the United States,” in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (Impact Factor 4.614). The study provides evidence for Sharma’s MTM in its ability to modify flossing behavior among minority children that can be applied to develop evidence-based interventions. Batra is a graduate student.
