Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) was among the GBD 2021 Fertility and Forecasting Collaborators in authoring the article titled, “Global fertility in 204 countries and territories, 1950–2021, with forecasts to 2100: A comprehensive demographic analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021,” in The Lancet (Impact Factor 168.9). The article highlights the global trend of declining fertility which will have implications for a declining workforce and aging populations in higher-income countries.
