Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) co-published an article titled, “Effects of cinnamon on anthropometric indices and headache-related disability of patients with migraine: A randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial,” in association with colleagues from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, and Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital Research Institute in the Avicenna Journal of Phytomedicine (Impact factor 2.26). The article provided some credence to the beneficial effects of cinnamon on migraine and more studies need to explore this complementary therapy.
