Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) delivered a keynote address to the International Conference on Emerging Need to Strengthen Global Public Health Policies and Sports Sciences (ICGPHPSS) titled, “The role of newer health behavior theories in global public health.” The conference was held as a hybrid at Sikkim Manipal University in India. The address highlighted the role fourth-generation behavioral theories such as the multi-theory model (MTM) of health behavior change can play in addressing global public health problems.
