Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health) co-authored an article titled, “Mother-daughter’s relationship with menstrual hygiene and premenstrual symptoms in Iranian teenage girls,” in the Journal of Education and Community Health with authors from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. The article highlights the crucial role of mothers to buffer stressors and relieve anxiety experienced at menarche and menstruation by girls in Iranian culture.
