Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health) co-authored an article, "An Exploratory Social Media Intervention for Perception and Behavior on Eating Away from Home: A Cluster-randomized Trial in Chongqing, China" in the Journal of Cleaner Production in collaboration with researchers from Chongqing Medical University (China), Silla University (South Korea), and Qatar University (Qatar). The article highlights the efficacy of social media intervention in reducing the frequency of eating away from home/school among young adults. Social media interventions hold a lot of promise in the coming years, especially among youth.
