Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health) co-authored an article, "Use of the Multi-theory Model (MTM) in Explaining Initiation and Sustenance of Indoor Tanning Cessation among College Students," in collaboration with the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa; the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville; and the University of Mississippi in the journal Archives of Dermatological Research. The article lends support to Sharma's multi-theory model in explaining indoor tanning cessation behavior and has implications for designing health education and health promotion interventions in this regard.
