Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health; Internal Medicine) coauthored an article titled, “Effects of co-supplementation with alpha-linolenic acid and L-Carnitine on inflammatory Status and oxidate stress in women with migraine: A randomized triple-blind, placebo-controlled trial,” in the Journal of Functional Foods (Impact factor 5.6) with coauthors from the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. The results of the study showed that alpha-linolenic acid and L-carnitine co-supplementation reduced inflammatory markers, improved antioxidant capacity, and decreased oxidative stress biomarkers in migraine sufferers and may offer benefits for them.
