Drs. Mahendran Jayaraj, Ranjit Makar, and Mohamad Mubder (all Medicine) received honors at the 2019 American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) meeting in San Antonio.
These and other members of the School of Medicine’s gastrointestinal (GI) team delivered a total of 18 presentations at the meeting, which is the most prestigious GI meeting in the nation. Awards went to:
- Jayaraj, who won the ACG award for the best research paper for “Recent Trends in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy-Related Medical Professional Liability Claims in the United States of America.”
- Makar, Mubder, and Jayaraj also were honored for their poster presentations.
