Lisa Davis (Business), executive director of the Lee Business School Office of Graduate Students Services, co-presented a session titled, "The Experiences of Graduate and Professional Advisors (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly)," at the NACADA Region 9 Conference in San Jose, California. This session, featuring a collaborative effort by graduate advisors from institutions including the College of Business Administration at Cal Poly Pomona, Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology, UC Santa Cruz's Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, and the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, highlighted a diverse range of perspectives. Through shared insights and firsthand experiences, attendees delved into the intricate landscape of advising in higher education, gaining valuable insights and strategies for enhancing advising practices in graduate and professional contexts.
