The Research on Women in Education SIG of AERA met in Las Vegas, and LeAnne Salazar Montoya (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) was asked to serve as the luncheon welcome speaker on Friday, Oct.13. It was a great opportunity for her to share the work she is doing at UNLV and the SW borderland area and the importance of research on women and girls. She also presented in a round table during the conference.
