Laurencia Bonsu, Sidath Kapukotuwa, Anita Chatterjee, Asma Awan, Manoj Sharma (all Social and Behavioral Health) presented a paper titled, "Qualitatively Understanding Problem Gambling Behavior Based on the Multi-Theory Model of Health Behavior Change," at Lumivero Virtual Conference 2023, held virtually on September 27 and 28, 2023. The presentation discussed the qualitative correlates of Sharma's multi-theory model of health behavior change to determine the quitting determinants and to design gambling quitting strategies in older adults' gambling experiences. Bonsu, Kapukotuwa, and Chatterjee are graduate students, Awan is the program manager in the administrative faculty, and Sharma is the chair Social and Behavioral Health and adjunct faculty Internal Medicine, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV.
