Whitney Elks, Christina Dantam, Adam Rooks, Kencie Ely, Spencer Schulte, Kavita Batra, Jocelyn Burke (all Medicine) along with Varun Jain (Medicine, University of Kentucky) presented their study "Role of Resistance Training after Bariatric Surgery: A Systematic Review" at the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) 40th Annual Meeting, held in San Diego, California. Elks is a medical resident in the General Surgery department.
