Kenny Do (UNLV Medical Student), Eric Kawana (UNLV Medical Student), Vladislav Zhitny (NYU Anesthesiology Resident/UNLV Medicine Alumni) published a systematic review that discusses the use of radiofrequency ablation in treating glossopharyngeal neuralgia in the journal Pain Physician. The publication examines the efficacy, safety, and adverse effects associated with the use of radiofrequency ablation in treating this rare disease. The paper examines some of the common causes of glossopharyngeal neuralgia as well.
