Kenneth Izuora and Scott Lee (both Medicine) in collaboration with colleagues at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (Michael Jakoby, Vanessa Williams, Stacey Ward, and Michael Buhnerkempe) presented their research, “Glycemic Control is Not an Independent Predictor of Mortality or Length of Stay for Patients Hospitalized with Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19)” at the 81st Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association last month.
