Kavita Batra (Medicine) and Ravi Batra (Public Health), in collaboration with the Global 2021 HIV Collaborators, published the study "Global, Regional, and National Burden of HIV/AIDS, 1990–2021, and Forecasts to 2050 for 204 Countries and Territories: The Global Burden of Disease Study 2021" in The Lancet HIV. The Batra duo has an extensive publication record, focusing on epidemiological patterns of both infectious and chronic diseases. Ravi Batra, a doctoral student in the School of Public Health, is currently investigating the social determinants of physical and mental health among racial, ethnic, and gender minorities using the All of Us dataset.
