Kavita Batra (Medicine) published a book chapter, "Deaths of Despair among College Students amidst COVID-19 Pandemic: A Call for Action." As highlighted in this review chapter, early identification of at-risk students, promoting parental education to develop open communications with their young children, and building mental health infrastructure at institutional and community levels will be critical.
