Kavita Batra (Medicine) along with the GBD 2019 IMID collaborators published a study, "Global, regional, and national incidence of six major immune-mediated inflammatory diseases: findings from the global burden of disease study 2019," in the eClinicalMedicine (part of the LANCET Discovery Science, Impact factor=15.1). This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the temporal trends of IMIDs by gender, age, cause, region, and country, and their association with the socio-demographic index (SDI) across the world. This study highlights an urgent need for an integrative management strategy to address the increasing trends of IMIDs.
